| Subject: | TenneT fall-back resources to be tested | ||
Dear Sir / Madam, On Monday 11th, Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th of October 2010 TenneT will test its fall-back resources. While testing, the Arnhem access points used to log on to the TenneT Extranet (CPS system and the ECS-external application) will be unavailable for a longer period of time. This concerns the ISDN log-on facility (telephone no. +31 26 4421070) and all leased lines that are linked to the access point at TenneTÂ’s Arnhem office. The back-up ISDN log-on facility (telephone no. +31 294 450068) and the access points at the TenneT HV substations will remain available for use throughout testing. As you may not know whether your leased line is connected to the Arnhem access point or not, we will inform you separately if applicable. Of course you will receive per email more detailed information concerning the precise timing of the testing sessions on October 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th. In order to enable you to test your back-up connection at a suitably early time, TenneT has planned two trials which will entail the Arnhem access points being unavailable, thus forcing you where applicable to resort to your back-up connection. These access point tests are scheduled as follows: Monday, 6th of September from 10.00 to 11.00 a.m. Monday, 20th of September from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. We would advise you to use these two testing windows and, if applicable, make sure your back-up connection is prepared. If this message contains information not regarding your working area, please forward this message to the appropriate department in your organisation.. If you have any questions regarding these tests, please do not hesitate to contact the TenneT Service Centre on telephone no. +31 26 3731717 or via E-mail at servicecentrum@tennet.org. Kind regards, TenneT Service Centre | |||
