Applied Congestion Management


TenneT publishes on the day of settlement after the application of Congestion Management the total amount of power which was needed per program time unit.

The publication provides an overview of the transport to and from the congestion management area;

  • The total amount of used power;
  • An overview of the transports to and from the congestion management area (= sum of the projections in the transmission congestion management area);
  • The total transmission forecasts presented, including the part that exceeds the single failure reserve;
  • Realized transports;
  • The amount of power made available;
  • The number of participants that have made a bid;
  • The extent to which Article 4.2.5.14 of the grid code was applied to adjust the bid limits;
  • The resulting prices for both up and downward regulation.
