The publication of the day-ahead load forecast and actual load represents hourly average values of the forecasted load and the actual load of the load figures of the Dutch transmission grid in MW per hour.

The actual load is a display of the actual load measured via the Energy Management System.
Context The values for the day-ahead load forecast and actual load are obtained by TenneT true summing the estimated and observed load in the 380, 220, 150, 110 and partly 50 kV transmission grid and has a coverage of 75% of the total installed generation capacity in the Netherlands (15.7 GW of 21 GW installed generation), including the exchange true interconnections. When The realized load of the same day in the preceding week (W+1) is published day-ahead (D-1) at 00:00 hr. The day-ahead load forecast is published day-ahead (D-1) around 16.30 hr. The realized load of the preceding day (D+1) is published on the day (D) at 00:00 hr. The Actual load is published on every hour for preceding hour (H+1). Unit The information is published in MW. Update No updates are published. Availability The information will be online available for 2 years. Daily information can be consulted by selecting a date via the pool down menu or by entering a date (mm-dd-yyyy) Historical data No historical data available before the 28th of May 2008. Publication requirement In publishing this information TenneT is implementing section 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 of the "Report on Transparency".
